lyrics
Trapped Here
For so many years
Linkless chains enslave my mind
Like a dream
Shadows fed
By illusions and weak beliefs
Human beings in slow decay
Reassured by their own chains
Rit:
‘Cause Mankind lives
Into the Cave
Mankind lives
Into the Cave
But now that i’m free
My mind is Clear
I’ve killed illusion and murdered the dream
With golden eyes
I see life
I will give eyesight to the blind
But they will not follow me
You will not follow me
Rit:
‘Cause Mankind lives
Into the Cave
Mankind lives
Into the Cave
If Elric had a soundtrack it would be this. It's everything you want from a epic metal album. Like a hot poker in the eye, but in a good way. Scott Malthouse
Chevalier is no doubt one of my favorite up and coming acts, playing an off the beaten path brand of raw sounding speed metal. Go back to their first LP here, self recorded. Sure, it doesn't have the same production level as "Destiny Calls", but it's still a great listen in it's own right. Bloodied But Unbowed
The atmosphere on this one is great! Lyrics and tone of the instruments are killers!!! Emma vocals are the cherry on the cake!!! All hail the Chevalier!!! Tino Barth
A powerful metal opus, blending soaring vocals, intricate melodies, and thunderous riffs for an epic listening experience. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 26, 2023
Allow me to copy Pagan Altar's third album title to describe not only III:Pentecost but the whole discography of Wytch Hazel so far: well, yes, it's Magical and Mythical!!! A must-have for the lovers of 70's hard sound revival. BoneWalker
